Beaded jewellery is one of the hottest fashion accessories in recent years. The jewellery market is a highly competitive one, with hundreds of brands vying for the attention of every fashion-forward female. Within this sea of bright baubles and glittering gems, Persona needed to find a way to outshine them all and stand apart from their competition. It was also important to find a way to communicate that this jewellery was customizable by the wearer, with beads to suit any style or occasion.

The Idea

We began by establishing the category of beaded jewellery through the use of assertive headlines playing off of the word ‘bead’. Next we clearly positioned Persona as a fashion brand by photographing the models in black and white to achieve the fashionable look we were after. The striking black and white imagery also provided contrast to the brightly coloured bead and bracelet product imagery. Bracelet images were shown open, with loose beads, to illustrate the customizable aspect of the jewellery.
