THE MARLEIGH


A new retirement residence was being built in the historic town of Unionville and Elixir was brought in to develop the new brand identity. Key messaging needed to be sensitive to the needs of both the seniors themselves and their children, who are key in the decision making process. In order to effectively communicate to these different target groups during what can be an emotional time for all, it was clear that a distinctive approach was needed.

The Idea

We started with the development of a brand tagline that captured the essence of what The Marleigh stands for – carefree retirement living. YOU DO THE LIVING. WE DO THE REST. defines a new beginning for seniors; one that will see them enjoy all of the things in life that truly matter such as friends, family and personal wellness. The dynamic logo features a bright, colourful ribbon graphic. In advertising executions, this free-flowing ribbon encircles images of happy seniors, establishing a unique, well-branded visual for carefree living.
